NATURAL DYES

CARE INSTRUCTIONS :

Current research has given us the opportunity to offer you wholly ecologically friendly textiles (fabrics and dyes). Our products are subject therefore to the laws of Mother Nature as we use no chemical barriers to protect against possible damage. Our tablecloths, for example, which are very vulnerable to various types of spillage, need treating with the greatest respect.

Perspiration may affect some of the dyes we use in our bed linen range (washing the article usually corrects this). In all cases, one golden rule applies: never use bleach or stain removers on our products – they contain oxidizers which may bleach the fabric. On our tablecloths, remove stains using a damp sponge soaked in washing up liquid.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS  :

Wash at 40°c. Use liquid washing products for wool and silk only (they contain no oxidants and their ph is close to neutral; natural dyes are damaged by alkaline conditions). In order to avoid any slight changes in color (depending on the natural dye used) we advise adding a teaspoonful of white vinegar to your wash.
